Armchair diagnosis and cosmetic dentistry treatment plan.
- History: While the alignment of this person's teeth is fairly even and regular the unevenness of the biting edges of her teeth results in a ragged appearance.
- Cosmetic dentistry treatment plan:
It seems likely that the results we've illustrated for the upper teeth in our "after" picture could be achieved via the placement of
dental crowns, or possibly even
dental veneers. The dentist performing the work would be the one who would need to make the determination of which of these two approaches would be the most appropriate. The decision would most likely hinge on factors related to this patient's occlusion (bite).
The changes we have shown for the bottom teeth could most likely be made by buffing them down slightly with a dental drill.
