How the product works

Begin by forming your mouth tray . Brush teeth with a toothpaste and rinse your teeth before each whitening application. This will ensure maximum whitening action while wearing your customized trays.

Step 1 :: Heat water just below boiling point

Step 2 :: Insert the whitening trays into the water so the arches are completely submerged.

Step 3 :: Slowly wave the trays in the water holding the tab until the tab becomes flexible. A slight loss of shape will be noticed in the trays.

Step 4 :: Lift trays vertically from the water and test for flexibility. The tray material should be soft and pliable.

Step 5 :: Use your finger to slightly flatten and flare the front segment and spread the tray to avoid folding on itself. Widen the tray enough to accommodate fitting.

Step 6 :: Place trays over upper teeth first. Use tab to approximate center. Bite down with moderate pressure to set trays in place.

Step 7 :: Press firmly over entire length of arch with first finger and thumb of both hands. The tray is conformed to the surfaces of the teeth when heat is no longer felt, approximately 15-30 seconds.

Step 8 :: Close lips and bite lightly a few times prior to removing the trays.

Step 9 :: Allow trays to completely cool outside the mouth.

Step 10 :: Place trays in mouth and evaluate fit. Trays should have precise but not overly tight fit. Rough edges or pressure points may be relieved by trimming with scissors and/or re-warming trays.

Step 11 :: When the edges of the trays are smooth, re-warm the entire tray a few seconds and insert one last time to relieve tightness. Put tray on and off teeth to insure there are no significant undercuts, and the removal is smooth with slight retention.

Step 12 :: After whitening, rinse trays with cool water and store in the anti-bacterial case included in the kit.

CAUTION :: Once the tray enters the heated water it becomes extremely flexible. Be careful not to allow the edges of the tray to fold onto itself. Repeat procedure if the tray is not soft enough to form to your teeth, or if you are not satisfied with the fit.

Place a small bead of whitening gel in the lower-frontal portion of the MAXbrite whitening tray. Avoid overfilling trays with gel, a small amount will deliver maximum whitening power.

Carefully place gel-filled upper and lower trays over teeth, close mouth. Avoid swallowing excess gel. Remove trays after 60 minutes. Brush or rinse remaining gel away from teeth and gums. Do not wear while sleeping! Clean trays with toothbrush and cool water.

Dentists recommend the use of peroxide-containing products for whitening teeth. Clinical studies show that you can expect significant shade changes in just 5 days. Your results may vary due to the nature and the discoloration found in your teeth. If teeth are discolored as a result of Tetracycline, fluorosis or more difficult to remove stains, trays may be worn for a longer period of time upon your dentist recommendation.
